Premier Padel Andalucía Málaga P1, the draws Coello and Tapia defend their title. Bea González aims to triumph again on home soil
Winners of the last four consecutive tournaments, Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia return to defend their title at the Premier Padel Andalucía Málaga P1. The Palacio de Deportes José María Martín Carpena is ready for another week of top-class padel, one that will be especially meaningful for Bea González as she competes in her home city. Alongside Paula Josemaría, Bea returns as the defending champion, as does Claudia Fernández, who will play alongside Sofia Araújo for the final time before forming a new young partnership with Martina Calvo from the Pretoria P1 onwards.
 
MEN The men's draw features 48 pairs. Coello and Tapia will begin their campaign against either David Gala and Enzo Jensen or Víctor Ruiz and Mario Ortega. Fede Chingotto and Ale Galán will open against either Juani Rubini and Maxi Sánchez or Denis Perino and Facundo Domínguez. Also in the bottom half are Juan Lebrón and Leo Augsburger, who will face either Santigosa/Sintes or Valenzuela/Martínez. Projected quarter-finals: Coello/Tapia (1) vs Nieto/Sanz (5), Di Nenno/Navarro (6) vs Stupaczuk/Yanguas (4), Lebrón/Augsburger (3) vs González/Campagnolo (8), Guerrero/Leal (7) vs Chingotto/Galán (2).
 
WOMEN In the 28-pair women's draw, the top four seeds receive a bye into the round of 16. Tamara Icardo and Claudia Jensen, fresh from their Bordeaux P2 title, will instead start in the opening round. Top seeds Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay await either Lucía Martínez and Águeda Pérez or Lorena Rufo and Victoria Iglesias. The tournament will also mark the debut of several new partnerships, including Marina Guinart and Ale Alonso (7), Ale Salazar and Aranzazu Osoro (8), and Verónica Virseda with Jimena Velasco. Jessica Castelló and Marta Talaván or a qualifying pair will be the opening opponents for Bea González and Paula Josemaría. Projected quarter-finals: Brea/Triay (1) vs Icardo/Jensen (5), Ortega/Calvo (6) vs Fernández/Araújo (4), Sánchez/Ustero (3) vs Guinart/Alonso (7), Salazar/Osoro (8) vs Josemaría/González (2).
