Premier Padel Comunidad de Madrid P1, Day2 Coello and Tapia pick up where they left off. Thursday is Delfi and Gemma's time
Champions in 2023, champions in 2024, winners of four titles in a row before the summer break. Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia, in their opening match at the Premier Padel Comunidad de Madrid P1, picked up where they left off. Their 6-3 7-6 victory over David Gala and Lucas Campagnolo earned the FIP number 1s a place in the round of 16, where they will face Alex and Victor Ruiz. Fede Chingotto and Ale Galan (2) also made a winning debut, beating Fede Mouriño and Rama Valenzuela 6-3, 6-4. Lebron/Stupaczuk (3, 6-3 6-2 against Gutierrez/Alfonso) and Nieto/Yanguas (4, 6-2, 6-4 against Sanchez/Gil) also qualified.
 
WOMEN At the Movistar Arena in Madrid, there is huge excitement for the debut of Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay, who for the first time in the history of Premier Padel will be the number 1 seeds in the women's draw. The Argentinean and the Spanish, winners of six titles in 2025, will open the programme on Centre Court at 9 a.m. CET against Marta Barrera and Marta Caparros; followed by Paula Josemaria and Ari Sanchez (2) against Carmen Goenaga and Bea Caldera. Bea Gonzalez and Claudia Fernandez (3) will also play their first match in Madrid against Araceli Martinez and Alix Collombon, as will Andrea Ustero and Sofia Araujo (4) against Marina Guinart and Victoria Iglesias.
