ACS Doha International School, an Artemis Education School, has announced that its Class of 2026 has received numerous higher education acceptances from universities across a broad range of international destinations, marking an important stage in the students' academic journey and demonstrating the quality of the school's academic programs and approach to university preparation. Dr. Robert Jackson, Head of School at ACS Doha, said: 'We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2026 and all they have achieved. These outcomes reflect their academic success, their character, and how they have embraced their time at ACS Doha. We look forward to the impact they will make as they take their next steps beyond school.' Multiple students have received unconditional acceptances, reflecting the strength of their academic profiles and alignment with university expectations. These outcomes highlight the global reach of ACS Doha graduates, with students progressing to universities across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, including destinations such as Canada, Qatar, the UAE, the United States, Spain, Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands, Japan, Germany, Malta, Finland, and Estonia. Among these acceptances, students have received places at leading institutions in key academic systems. In the United Kingdom, this includes Russell Group universities such as King's College London, the University of Manchester, and the University of Bristol, known for their world-class academic standards and research output. Meanwhile, in the United States students have been accepted to institutions including Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, alongside the University at Buffalo, SUNY, and the University of California, Riverside. In Qatar, students have received acceptances from Education City universities, including Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, Georgetown University in Qatar, Northwestern University in Qatar, Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar, and Hamad Bin Khalifa University. These institutions remain key destinations for students within the local higher education landscape. Further afield, students have received acceptances from the University of Toronto, the University of British Columbia, and McMaster University in Canada, as well as the University of Sydney in Australia, reflecting the continued international reach of ACS Doha graduates. These outcomes reflect the sustained effort demonstrated by students throughout their studies and the strength of ACS Doha's academic offering, including the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes and the US High School Diploma. The IB Diploma Programme provides a broad and balanced curriculum, requiring students to study across disciplines while developing research, writing, and analytical skills through independent coursework and final assessments. In parallel, the US High School Diploma offers a flexible pathway, allowing students to build subject combinations aligned with their interests and university requirements. Central to these outcomes, teaching and learning at ACS Doha are led by experienced international teachers who create supportive classroom environments. With a focus on inquiry and reflection, students develop independence in their learning and a clear sense of direction. This approach is supported by both teaching and examinations staff, who guide students throughout their academic journey. ACS Doha offers a dedicated University and College Counselling Program, which provides ongoing guidance to students and families throughout the application process. From subject selection to university applications, students are supported in making informed decisions about their next steps and navigating international admissions pathways. This structured approach ensures that students are well prepared for their chosen pathways beyond school. Alongside their academic studies, students participate in an extracurricular program as part of the Artemis Experience, Artemex. Activities in sports, the arts, and community engagement allow students to explore their interests while developing confidence and a sense of responsibility, contributing to well-rounded university applications. Mr. Michael Elston, Middle & High School Principal at ACS Doha, commented: 'We are incredibly proud of our students and the commitment they have shown throughout their academic journey. These acceptances reflect both their hard work and the support they receive from teachers and the wider school community. We are confident that they are well prepared for the next stage of their education. As they begin this next chapter, each of them will carry a part of ACS Doha with them, including the experiences, values, and sense of community that will continue to shape their journey wherever they go.' ACS Doha's approach to education focuses on developing effective learners, confident individuals, and caring contributors. The achievements of the Class of 2026 reflect this approach, as well as the collective efforts of students, teachers, and families in supporting each learner's progress and preparation for life beyond school.
