DOHA, QATAR 22 NOVEMBER 2025 - Go Active, a comprehensive mind-and-body studio, was officially inaugurated in November through a state-of-the-art location in Doha's West Walk. The studio builds on the success of Go Pilates, a specialized studio launched in the iconic Aspire Park earlier in 2025. Pilates is a mind-body exercise method that focuses on controlled movement, core strength, flexibility, and posture. It is low-impact, precise, and designed to make the human body move better and harder. Through the new Go Active studio, a diverse range of classes and services are offered to women including pilates, functional fitness, suspension training, Zumba and trampoline fitness. To date, more than 25,000 fitness-seekers have subscribed to Go Active and Go PIlates classes. Speaking about the inauguration of the Go Active studio, Omaima Jebbari, Manager at Go Active said: 'Our studio was built with women in Qatar at its heart — a space where they can move with confidence, strengthen their bodies, and find balance in their daily lives. We focus on more than just fitness; we focus on wellbeing, community, and helping every woman feel powerful.' Pilates was created in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates, a German physical trainer. As a child, Joseph struggled with illnesses such as asthma and rickets, which drove him to study anatomy, physical culture, gymnastics, boxing, and martial arts. Go Active accepts new subscriptions to its West Walk studio.
