A constellation of the world's most prominent fashion designers and promising Qatari talents join this event hosted in Qatar for the first time
Doha, Qatar - 26 October 2022: The Wedding Bazaar Exhibition, organized by Mall of Qatar and Harper's Bazaar-Qatar luxury fashion magazine, kicked off on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Mall of Qatar with the participation of a distinguished group of international designers and Qatari talents.
The 5-day specially curated exhibition will run until October 29, 2022.
Through the Bazaar Bridal Show, Mall of Qatar provides the public an opportunity to view the finest specialized cosmetic arts and fashion shows that include a selection of the latest innovations of wedding dress designers and listen to the advice of experts in organizing weddings, in addition to benefiting from the expertise of Harper’s Bazaar and a number of prominent institutions specialized in the field of weddings, beauty and fashion.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition witnessed an exclusive interview with the Lebanese star Elissa, one of the most prominent icons of fashion and beauty in the Arab world, who spoke about the most important stages in her career in the world of art and singing.
During the first day of the exhibition, Harper's Bazaar-Qatar Editor-in-Chief, had a talk with Mona Kattan Entrepreneur and Beauty Expert, who is also a co-founder of international beauty company Huda Beauty and luxury perfume brand Kayali, shared with the attendees some of her beauty experiences.
The second day of the exhibition, Wednesday, October 26, brought the guests a variety of discussions, the most prominent of which was with the international designer, Adam Afara, who is famous for his creative events designs and success in making his unique mark in the United States having deals with the most famous stars of Hollywood and the Arab world. On the other hand, the audience enjoyed an inspiring talk between Maysoon Al-Dakhil and designers Nour Bou Ezz and Rina Bou Shakra, moderated by Narges Rais from Harper's Bazaar magazine.
On Thursday, October 27, Valerie Messika, Founder and Creative Director of Messika Fine Jewelry, will engage the audience on an interesting conversation to learn more about the details of her journey in the world of diamonds and her passion for jewelry making.
On Friday, October 28, the Wedding Bazaar stand will welcome Joelle Mardinian, Lebanese beauty expert, media personality, famous entrepreneur and founder of the leading beauty group, Jewel Group, in the Gulf region and the Middle East.
On Saturday, October 29, the audience will have a special date with French fashion designer Stéphane Rolland, who enriched this field with exceptional designs that achieved widespread and great demand in the most prestigious fashion houses and royal weddings, and starred by many celebrities around the world, led by the international singer Beyoncé and the famous American pop singer Lady Gaga.

To add glamor to the show, some distinguished talents in the fashion world in Qatar and the region are also participating in the exhibition, including Rina Bouchakra, fashion designer; Adam Afara, international party designer, writer and media person; Maysoon Al-Dakhil and Maysa Taha, designers of wedding dresses; and designers Tia, Wissam Shammas and Hessa Haddad.
Other renowned names taking part in the event are makeup artists Afra Al Marri, Haneen Al Saifi, Salima Aliani, Karen Donnelly, Massimo Gualla, Te'masq Ladies Salon and Sac Polyclinic, Amal Amin, entrepreneur; and Nada Al Sulaiti, jewelry designer. The exhibitors list includes a variety of luxury brands such as Holland Plaza, Salam Stores, Jovoy Perfumes, Messika, Kiko Milano, Clarins, Bulgari Department Stores, Damas Jewelery, La Marquis, Thouq stores.
