Souq Al Wakra Hotel Unveils the “Majlis” Offer

Aiming to provide the most enjoyable times with family and friends

Al Wakra, Qatar - 1st  February 2020:   With the onset of winter season, Souq Al Wakra Hotel, Al Wakra City’s premium sanctuary away from Doha’s fast-paced lifestyle, is pleased to unveil its new “majlis” offer.

Various room categories are found around each “majlis” at Souq Al Wakra Hotel, which mimics the traditional Qatari Bedouin tent. The “majlis” has been designed to enable guests to delight in a one-of-its-kind experience while spending the most enjoyable and memorable times with family and friends, and to escape from life’s workload and stress.

With the open walkways and paths leading to courtyards at both the hotel’s North and South blocks, four “majlis” areas have been created (two at each block) for guests to savour upscale hospitality services in a privileged family atmosphere. The multiple guest rooms around every shaded “majlis” can be blocked off to give privacy for groups, perfect for celebrations or family gatherings.

Through the newly-launched “majlis” offer, guests will be able to select among three exclusive packages that suit their needs and preferences. These packages are categorised according to the number of rooms and F&B services that are included in each option, such as a dinner buffet in one of the hotel’s restaurants for the first package. Moreover, the second package offers an Oriental dinner buffet at the majlis area, while the third package includes a BBQ or seafood buffet at the majlis area along with a live cooking station.

Souq Al Wakra Hotel is strategically located at both ends of the historic Souq Al Wakra, overlooking the Arabian Gulf. In keeping with the local heritage, each of the guest rooms and suites features classic thatched roofs which reflects conventional basket weaving elements. The guest rooms have been thoughtfully designed with colourful motifs reflecting the radiant blues of the sea and the sandy tones of the desert, inspired by Al Wakra’s history as a pearl diving and fishing village.
