Paladion, a specialized information risk-management provider, announced today that in co-operation with Kaspersky, it will host a cyber security conference in Doha, Qatar on 17th February 2016 at The Ritz-Carlton, starting from 9:00am. This event will be targeted at CIO’s, CISO’s, IT heads and senior management executives from large private and government enterprises across the country. The half-day conference will start with a welcome note from the VP & Regional Sales Head, Paladion, Mr. Amit Roy, followed by a keynote address from the MD of Paladion, Mr. Firosh Ummer. Senior executives from Paladion and Kaspersky will also be present at the event. A focal point of the conference will be Paladion’s unique cyber security framework CyberActive, an active cyber defense model that embeds robust protection in every fragment and continuously integrates threat intelligence for proactive mitigation of threats. Speaking of the conference, Ummer stated that, “Qatar as a nation has come a long way in a short period of time. We understand that progress in information technology can also introduce new vulnerabilities in an environment. Our CyberActive service is built on an active defense model that continuously integrates vulnerability intelligence and external threat data feeds to help predict threats and stop an attack on its tracks. The model is an evolution in cyber defense techniques and actively evolves to meet today’s creative, low foot print attacks.
