Doha, February 11, 2020 - The power of sports which unites different cultures and promotes healthy lifestyles was on full display at the 2020 Qatar National Sport Day activities organized by Alfardan Group at the Aspire Ladies Sports Hall. Home to one of the most diverse workforces in Qatar, more than 1,500 employees of the group participated in the lively set of events which featured some of Qatar’s most passionate sporting activities such as football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, billiards, badminton, table tennis and golf. Guerlain Spa, Alfardan provided participants an electrifying start to their day with a series of Zumba warm-up exercises; while medical specialists representing Alfardan Group’s newest subsidiary, Alfardan Medical with Northwestern Medicine (AMNM), were on standby to provide first aid to the attendees. Board members of the Alfardan Group, namely, Hussain Ibrahim Alfardan, Chairman, Ali Hussain Alfardan, Vice Chairman, Fahad Hussain Alfardan, Board Director, Omar Hussain Alfardan, President and CEO and Fardan Fahad Alfardan, General Manager of Wahat Shafalahia, were present to welcome the employees and their families and friends who participated. They also handed out the awards to the winners of the sports competitions.
