Doha, Qatar - April 6, 2019: Doha Festival City, a unique, world-class destination celebrating the best in entertainment and retail kickstarted its second-year anniversary celebrations on Friday, April 5 with a live performance by Iraqi singer Rahma Riyad in the Center Court. This was followed by the unveiling of a giant cake, 40kgs of glitter confetti showered across the thousands attending and giveaways dispersed to shoppers for all partake in the celebrations. Shoppers and retailers gathered at Centre Court to witness Riyad’s debut performance, where she performed hits such as Waed Menni to music enthusiasts. The excitement continues for the second anniversary celebrations with live parades and photo opportunities throughout the month of April, taking place 12 - 13 April and 19 - 20 April, at 3.30pm, 6.30pm, and 8:00pm. Families are invited to visit the mall and enjoy the festivities and shows.
