Dukhan Bank Announces its Financial Results for the First Quarter of 2023

• The Bank’s net income grew to QAR 414 million with 5.6% growth

DOHA, QATAR – 04 MAY 2022: Dukhan Bank has announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2023 with total net income amounting to QAR 414 million, recording a 5.6% growth compared to the first quarter of 2022.

Dukhan Bank total income increased by 33.8% to QAR 1.4 billion, compared to QAR 1.1 billion for the same period of 2022. In addition, the bank continued on its conservative policy and provided QAR 144 million for financing assets impairment.

The Bank's total assets amounted QAR 102 billion and the total financing assets QAR 74 billion, while customer deposits reached QAR 70 billion.
Total shareholders’ equity exceeded QAR 14.7 billion, and the capital adequacy ratio stood at 18.8% in accordance with the Basel III requirements, comfortably higher than minimum supervisory ratio as specified by the Qatar Central Bank and guidelines of the Basel Committee.
