Dubai, UAE, October 18, 2016: Linen plays a starring role in the second part of Zara Home’s Autumn/Winter 2016 campaign. Its texture, colours, characteristics and superior quality make this fabric a must for decoration.
The new AW16 Linen Collection is presented in sculptor Xavier Corberó’s studio workshop. This space, with its lofty roofs, infinite arches and the rotundity of its materials, provides the ideal setting for the natural delicacy of linen fabrics.
Elegant and simple spaces decorated with textiles and objects that have an organic appearance and neutral colours.
A complete selection of furnishings can als obe found in the new Linen Collection, blending neutral tones and materials with a natural appearance.
Porcelain and minimalist clay details, glassware made from light glass and sandblasted crystal, silver cutlery and, of course, linen table cloths and napkins.
Industrial-style living rooms where the materials' texture is the key element. Tones of carbon grey, light grey, white, beige and natural linen, playing a starring role.
Wood is either left in its natural state or enamelled using shades in the same colour-range.
When it comes to decorative objects, materials have been mixed together such as rustic crystal, ceramics and wood which is engraved, leaving imperfections for a more hand-crafted look.
This season, Zara Home is also including a new technique for treating linen known as garment washing, a way of washing linen that gives the fabric extra softness and a more attractive appearance and flexibility for bed linen, towels, and textiles in general.
