Al Khaliji Bank Participate in Sponsor of Compliance and Combating Financial Crime Conference

Doha, Qatar, 02 February 2020:   al khaliji Commercial Bank P.Q.S.C (al khaliji) P.Q.S.C, Qatar’s next generation bank, Silver sponsor of the “Compliance and Combating Financial Crime Conference”, a high-ranking gathering of bankers held at the Sharq Village and Spa from 29-30th January. 

 

The conference was held in the backdrop of a vastly changed landscape for financial institutions who are increasingly coping with new domestic and international risks. For two days, the world’s foremost Financial Crime and Compliance expert’s voices discussed matters related to financial crime risks and associated compliance obligations and how the financial institutions nowadays have to dig deeper into their customer profiles.  

 

The conference was held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Saoud Al-Thani, the Governor of Qatar Central Bank, and hosted by Qatar Central Bank, Union of Arab Banks, and World Union of Arab Banks. al khaliji was a silver sponsor of the event.
