Roland Garros, one of the great temples of tennis and world sport, has over the years become a temple of padel too. Anticipation is high for the fifth edition of the Paris Major, with the Sunday before the start of the main draws packed with promotional events and VIPs – not only from the sporting world – ready to enjoy the pala as they await the arrival of the champions, some of whom are still in Madrid for today's P1 finals. Then, from Monday, the long road towards the second Major title of the season will begin.

MEN The draw has mapped out the path for the 48 pairs in the men's draw. Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia will be looking to bounce back from their quarter-final defeat in Madrid to Coki Nieto and MikeYanguas, but return to Roland Garros, where they have won the last three editions. Their tournament will begin against Pablo Lijó and Xisco Gil or Gonza Alfonso and Tino Libaak, in a half of the draw that also includes Juan Lebron and Leo Augsburger, who will face either wild cards Clement Geens and Dylan Guichard or Santi Pineda and Javi Ruiz in their opening match. In the bottom half are fourth seeds Franco Stupaczuk and on Sanz, who will begin against either two qualifiers or Dominguez/Cruz Belluati, as well as the 'Chingalan', who will also face either a qualifying pair or Maxi Sanchez and Lucho Capra. WOMEN Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay, as well as Paula Josemaria and Bea Gonzalez, will arrive in Paris directly after the Madrid final, ready to battle for the Roland Garros title too. Delfi and Gemma triumphed in 2025, while Paulita won in the previous two years alongside Ari Sanchez. Brea and Triay could potentially begin against Nuria Rodriguez and Giulia Dal Pozzo – with the top four seeds entering the tournament in the round of 16 – while the closest seeds to Josemaria and Gonzalez are Jana Montes and Marta Barrera (15). Rufo/Iglesias could pose a threat to Sanchez/Ustero, while Martina Calvo and Claudia Fernandez could cross paths with Veronica Virseda and Martina Fassio.
