35 interns join Snoonu’s internship program and reap the benefits of a valuable work experience from top industry professionals

7 July 2021; Doha, Qatar- Snoonu, Qatar’s fastest growing delivery-services company, is proud to announce that 35 successful interns have joined its specialized internship program which started in May 2020.

The initiative comes as part of the company’s efforts to support students and fresh graduates in Qatar in their career path and to assist them in preparing for their professional careers and find suitable jobs with the support of Snoonu’s well-versed industry professionals. 

Snoonu’s top-level internship program is led by Mr. Hamad Al Hajri, Co-founder, and CEO of Snoonu, and Co-founder of another 12 start-ups, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in the industry. 

Founder and CEO of Snoonu, Hamad Mubarak Al Hajri said: “We value our interns’ participation and encourage them to share their innovative ideas and suggestions to further develop our internship program to match their expectations. At Snoonu, we consider interns to be a significant part of the growth and development of our company and that of the burgeoning workforce in Qatar”. 

Being part of Snoonu is a valuable addition to the interns’ portfolios and professional career path, providing hands-on experience through a series of top-level mentoring and training programs.

I am grateful for having the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of Snoonu” Stated Andrew Edward, intern in Digital Marketing at Snoonu.

The new interns come from a variety of institutions including Qatar University, Georgetown University, Carnegie Mellon University, Northwestern University, Stenden University, College of the North Atlantic and University of Aberdeen. The internship program spans various departments including Tech, Information Technology (IT), Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Sales, Operations, and Customer Care. The duration of the Internship Program at Snoonu is typically 3 months. In participating in the internship programs, the new job seekers will have the confidence, knowledge, and experience to continue their career paths either with Snoonu or with other successful companies. 

Snoonu is Qatar's home-grown success story that aims to be the first local unicorn. With over 100,000 users, Snoonu plans to expand and diversify its offering by adding new features and services to its platform, with a goal to enter international markets, including the Middle East.
