Doha, Qatar (1 May 2019) -   Mondrian Doha, from leading global lifestyle hospitality company sbe, is excited to announce the launch of all new signature pre- and post-natal treatments at ESPA, one of the most luxurious and largest spas in the Middle East.  Moms can take time out before and after their treatment in the spa stunning relaxation spaces.

These unique and thoughtful hydrotherm therapies are the most comfortable pre- and post-pregnancy treatments in the world of well-being and take into consideration the different stages of pregnancy and beyond. Warm water-filled pillows fully support the body and to enable clients to comfortably and safely lie on their back for the duration of the treatment.

Set among this Marcel Wanders designed spa with twelve treatment rooms and world-renowned traditional Hammam, the pre and post-pregnancy offerings include a thoughtful range of treatment such as the Trimester Specific Massage. When performed during pregnancy, this therapy can reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, enhance sleep, and reduce swelling. As for legs and ankle swelling, The Lighter Legs Treatment helps reduce the water retention as well as relieve symptoms of restless legs syndrome, common in expectant mums.

Guests can also enjoy a Belly Facial, a gentle treatment that softens the skin of the belly, assisting in the prevention of stretch marks. During the treatment, mothers-to-be can choose from a hand, foot or head massage, leaving them feeling relaxed and refreshed.

ESPA also offers, post-natal treatments including the Post-Natal Massage to rejuvenate and repair the upper back, neck, and arms, which tend to get stiff during the first months after delivery, in addition to the post-natal toning wrap, focusing on the midsection for toning and stretchmark reduction.

Additionally, Mondrian Doha’s ESPA is going to be the only spa in the country to offer a DNA test for nutrition and fitness, complimentary within the 6 and 12-month memberships. DNA testing uses genetic science to usher in a new era of nutrition, fitness and wellbeing, helping to determine the DNA effects of each person’s body’s reaction to nutrition and exercise. The results, which are provided through an all-inclusive report, are used to identify a comprehensive fitness plan including specific meal suggestions and exercises with personal trainers at The Fitness Centre at Mondrian Doha.

Says Rachel Lowe-Mukherji, Director of ESPA: “We are extremely proud and excited about the launch of our pre- and post-natal offerings at ESPA. With international level training we can ensure the well-being of expectant and new mothers in a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. The DNA testing for nutrition and fitness is also very exciting as we are the first spa in Doha to offer this complimentary to our members, enabling them to enhance their own well-being journey.”

Expectant mothers can enjoy the female spa which creates a magical illusion of a secret garden exuding femininity.
