Elon Musk, leader of SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink and The Boring Company, sat down with John Micklethwait, Editor-in-Chief at Bloomberg, at the second ‘Qatar Economic Forum, Powered by Bloomberg’, which opened yesterday under the high patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar.
As part of session one of the Forum on ‘Equalizing the Global Recovery’, Musk highlighted:
• “My aspiration for Twitter is to be as inclusive as possible. That it is an appealing system to use. Ideally, I would like to get 80 percent of North America and half the world on Twitter; that means it must be something appealing. Generally, the approach of Twitter should be to let people say what they want within the bounds of the law. […] I would drive the product, which is what I do at SpaceX and Tesla. Whether I am CEO is much less important than my ability to drive the product in the right direction.” Read more about his comments about Twitter here.
• “The demand for our cars [Tesla] is extremely high and the waitlist is long. This is not intentional; we are increasing production capacities as fast as possible. We think about how to address the limiting factors in the supply chain and our own industrial capacity.” Read more about his comments on Tesla.
